Home Away From Home
Clairidge House is an 81-bed, premier provider of short- and long-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. We’re known for our friendly and competent staff, led by long-term, experienced industry experts in their field of work.
Located in the downtown area of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Clairidge House has served area residents since 1982. We are conveniently located on a handicapped accessible city bus route and near the Metra station. The facility has two lighted parking lots for convenient visitor access.
Clairidge House offers an environment designed to help residents continue to lead lives of purpose while facing health challenges. Clairidge House staff delivers individualized and person-centered care based on residents’ needs and desires, and supplements it with chef-prepared meals and a comprehensive activities program designed to offer social, recreational, educational and spiritual opportunities.
As it was once eloquently said in a well-known movie, “There’s no place like home.” We understand the importance of home and the importance of getting better to successfully return home, if that is the goal. Our team of skilled professionals develop a plan upon admission to work towards your goal, whatever that may be. So, when the need arises for transitional care after surgery, or for longer-term care due to degenerative or other conditions, Clairidge House is committed to helping your stay be purposeful and as comfortable as possible.
In 2010, The Clairidge House was selected as an American Health Care Association Bronze Quality Award winner for its commitment to quality care. The facility was one of only 11 facilities in Wisconsin to receive the award and one of 505 facilities nationwide. The award reflects the facilities commitment to meeting customers’ needs through continuous quality improvement.
